Abstract. This paper describes the results of a wave tank test campaign 1/49 scaled SATH 10 MW floating platform. The software-in-the-loop (SiL) hybrid method was used to include wind turbine thrust and in-plane rotor moments. Experimental are compared with numerical model developed in OpenFAST turbine. carried out tested at deep ocean basin from Lir National Ocean Test Facility Cork, Ireland. substructure design adapted by Saitec support within ARCWIND project (Adaptation Implementation Floating Wind Energy Conversion Technology for Atlantic Region) aim withstanding environmental conditions European Area region. CENER provided controller specially designed configuration.
